The National Legal Aid Services Organization (NLASO) has given legal assistance in 4,28,301 cases of underprivileged litigants at the government's expense since 2009. According to recently published report on the website of the NLASO, as many as 12, 26,019 individuals across Bangladesh will get legal assistance till May 2025 since 2009. Additionally, 9,78,992 individuals were assisted through Legal Aid Offices in 64 districts while 29,168 people received aid via the Supreme Court Legal Aid Office. Some 29,331 workers were supported through the Legal Aid Cells in Dhaka and Chattogram.

A total of 1,88,528 people received guidance and support through the toll-free National Helpline number (16430). The NLASO initiative is part of the government's ongoing efforts to ensure equal access to justice for all citizens, particularly those unable to afford legal representation. The services are rendered free of charge under the provisions of the Legal Aid Act, reaffirming the state's commitment to uphold the rights of its most vulnerable populations.
