Hong Kong Stocks Surge Over 3% After China-US Tariff Suspension
Hong Kong stocks jumped more than three percent Monday after China and the United States announced a suspension of their stiff tariffs in a bid to ease trade tensions between the economic superpowers.
The Hang Seng Index surged 3.34 percent, or 762.94 points, to 23,630.68.
