Humayun seeks stronger Brazil ties through South-South cooperation

State Minister for Foreign Affairs Humaiun Kobir has sought stronger ties with Brazil through South-South cooperation during talks with Brazilian Foreign Minister Mauro Luiz Iecker Vieira in New York.

The duo met on Friday afternoon on the sidelines of United Nations meetings, according to a foreign ministry press release issued today.

They expressed satisfaction with the growing momentum in Bangladesh-Brazil relations and discussed expanding cooperation in trade, investment and other areas of economic engagement.

The ministers also stressed the importance of regular high-level visits and stronger links between the two countries' people and institutions,the releases added.
