New Committee Announced for Pallabi-Rupnagar Branch of Mirpur Road Transport Workers' Union

The committee for the Pallabi and Rupnagar Thana branch of the Mirpur Road Transport Workers' Union (Reg. No. Dhaka-2405) has been officially announced.

On Tuesday evening, Md. Anwar Hossain, President of the Mirpur Road Transport Workers' Union, announced the names of the members of the newly formed committee. Union leaders, activists from various Thana branches, and general members were present at the event.

A full 91-member committee was announced, featuring Md. Muslim Uddin Musa as President, S.M. Khorshed Newaz Liton as Executive President, Md. Dulal Howlader as Senior Vice-President, Md. Mamun as Vice-President, Md. Safayet Hossain Sohel Bepari as General Secretary, Md. Zakir Hossain as Joint General Secretary, Md. Mominur Rahman as Organizing Secretary, and San Jim Hasan as Treasurer.

Leaders of the Mirpur Road Transport Workers' Union—including President Md. Anwar Hossain, Executive President Md. Aziz Bepari, Vice-President Md. Masud, General Secretary Shahidul Islam, and Organizing Secretary Rafiqul Islam—along with activists and members from various Thana areas, attended the announcement ceremony.

Speakers at the event congratulated the leaders of the newly formed committee and urged them to work unitedly to strengthen workers' rights, welfare, and organizational activities.

Subsequently, the leaders of the new committee were welcomed with floral garlands, and those present shared sweets with one another. The event concluded with wishes for the success and continued prosperity of the newly formed committee.
