Noakhali Science and Technology University (NSTU) today signed separate Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with Karabuk University and Duzce University of Turkey to enhance academic collaboration. The signing ceremony was held at the office of the NSTU Vice-Chancellor (VC).  NSTU VC Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ismail signed the MoUs on behalf of the university, while Karabuk University Rector Prof. Dr. Fatih Kiris,Ik and Duzce University Rector Nedim Sozbir signed on behalf of their respective institutions.

Speaking on the occasion, the NSTU VC said the agreements will create opportunities for joint academic and research initiatives with the two leading Turkish universities. The cooperation will cover joint teaching, student supervision, academic and administrative staff exchanges, and research-based conferences and seminars. NSTU VC added that NSTU researchers will be able to engage in collaborative studies in science, engineering, cross-cultural studies, and social sciences under these MoU.

"Four NSTU students have recently received visas to pursue higher studies in Japan. We are committed to developing NSTU as a center of academic excellence," he added. The event was organized under the supervision of the NSTU Office of International Collaboration and External Affairs (ICEA). NSTU Pro-VC Prof. Dr. Md. Rezwanul Haque, Treasurer Prof. Dr. Md. Hanif (Murad), Dean of the Faculty of Education Science Prof. Dr. Md. Jahangir Sarkar, Additional Director of ICEA and Erasmus Plus Program Coordinator Prof. Dr. Rokonuzzaman Siddiquee, and Chairman of the ICE Department Prof. Dr. Md. Ashiqur Rahman Khan were present at the meeting, among others.
