One Killed in Boarding Bridge Wheel Explosion at Osmani Airport

A worker named Rumman Ahmed (23) was killed as a wheel of the boarding bridge (stairs for boarding the plane) exploded at Sylhet Osmani International Airport on Thursday noon. Another person was injured in the incident. The accident occurred around 2 pm  while it was being repaired. Sylhet Airport Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Syed Anisur Rahman confirmed the matter.

The deceased Rumman Ahmed's house was in Tilapara area of Airport Police Station. The injured Enamul Haque's house is in Mahaldik village of the same police station.
