RCC retirees receive gratuity cheques in Rajshahi
Gratuity cheques have been distributed among the retired employees of Rajshahi City Corporation (RCC).
On Thursday afternoon, at a program organised in the City Hall Room in Nagar Bhaban, RCC Administrator Mahfuzur Rahman Riton handed over gratuity cheques to the retired employees as chief guest.
Speaking as the chief guest at the event, Administrator Mahfuzur Rahman Riton said, "Rajshahi metropolis belongs to all of us. We are working together with everyone to build this city into a cleaner, more beautiful, safer and healthier city, and we will continue to do so in the future."
He said that the retired employees have served the city residents with dedication and sincerity for a long time. They have made significant contributions to the development of the City Corporation and to civic services. Their contributions in their professional life will remain memorable.
RCC Secretary Sohel Rana presided over the event.
Speakers at the event included RCC's Chief Conservancy Officer and President of the Officers-Employees Welfare Fund, Sheikh Mamun Dollar, retired Store Officer Ahsan Habib Khokon, and Joint General Secretary of the RCC Employees Union, Mofazzal Hossain Maku.
The welcome speech was delivered by RCC's Budget-cum-Accounts Officer, Shafiqul Islam Khan.
Present on the stage were RCC's Superintending Engineer Ahmad Al Moin Parag, Chief Health Officer Dr. FAM Anjuman Ara Begum, and Chief Revenue Officer Abu Saleh Nur-E-Sayeed.
Relevant RCC officers and employees, as well as retired employees, were present at the time.
