Three infrastructure projects inaugurated in Sirajganj

Three major infrastructure development projects were inaugurated here today, marking a significant step toward improving connectivity, public services, and regional development.

District BNP president and former lawmaker Rumana Mahmud laid the foundation stones for three infrastructure development projects.

In the morning, Rumana laid the foundation stone for a new building of Abhijatri Sangsad at Hosenpur Mohalla, with support from the Abdus Sattar Foundation.

Rumana Mahmud then inaugurated the development work of the playground at Islamia Government College in the same area. Later, she also launched the construction of a boundary wall for the college.

A doa and prayer session was held following the foundation-laying ceremonies, seeking the welfare of the country and its people. Hafez Maulana Md Nur Nabi Hossaini, member secretary of the Sirajganj District Olama Dal, conducted the prayer.

Sirajganj District BNP vice-presidents VP Amar Krishna Das and K.M. Rakibul Hasan Ratan, senior joint secretary VP Shamim Khan, joint secretary Mostafa Noman Alal, Daily Jamunar Katha editor and publisher and Sirajganj Chamber of Commerce and Industry director Abdus Sattar and District BNP office secretary Tanvir Mahmud Palash were present, among others.
