Ansar-VDP DG Supports Family of Officer Killed in Road Accident
Mr. Mohammad Alauddin, an Upazila Ansar and VDP officer of Mirsarai, Chattagram, lost his life in a tragic road accident while performing his professional duties on 5 July 2026 in Mirsarai. In his untimely death, the respected Director General of Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defense Force, Major General Abdul Motaleb Sajjad Mahmud, has stood by him with a humanitarian initiative. After paying 75,000 taka immediately for the burial and ambulance fare at that time, his bank loan burden has now been repaid.
On Thursday morning, at the headquarters of Bangladesh Ansar and Village Defense Force, the Director General of the force handed over a check of Tk 2,58,074 to Farzana Yasmin Poli, the wife of the deceased upazila official, on behalf of the welfare wing of the force. This money will be used to pay off the outstanding loan of the late Mohammad Alauddin to Ansar-VDP Unnayan Bank.
The father of the deceased and the director of the welfare wing of the force, Mr. Enamul Khan, were present at the time. The Director General expressed deep condolences to the bereaved family and assured them that all the benefits they deserve as per the rules will be ensured as soon as possible and that the force will provide them with all kinds of support in the future as well.
