Awareness meeting on land fair held in Agailjhara

Agailjhara Upazila Land Office organized a public awareness meeting at the Upazila Parishad meeting room on Tuesday morning on the occasion of the land fair.

Upazila Assistant Commissioner (Land) Umme Imama Banin chaired the event and Upazila Nirbahi Officer Fariha Tanjin was the chief guest.

Upazila Secondary Education Officer Md Mahabubur Rahman, Academic Supervisor Pran Kumar Ghatak, and Upazila Agriculture Officer Pijush Roy spoke at that time.

Students of various educational institutions, including officials and employees of various departments, were present at that time. After the discussion meeting, a quiz competition was held with the students. Later, prizes were distributed among the winning students.

The speakers said that in order to modernize the land management, it should be taken care that the people are not harassed in the name of land management automation project, smart land service, smart land record and map service, and the mutation.
