BNCC platoon launched in Hajiganj Degree College

Bangladesh National Cadet Corps (BNCC) platoon has been inaugurated at Hajiganj Degree College.

Lieutenant Colonel Rashedul Hasan Prince, regiment commander of the Mainamati Regiment of BNCC, inaugurated it as the chief guest on Tuesday afternoon on the Hajiganj Degree College premises.

Earlier, a group of smart cadets of the BNCC platoon of Hajiganj Degree College gave a guard of honor to the chief guest. Then, the chief guest inaugurated the platoon by hoisting the BNCC flag and releasing pigeons.

Later, the chief guest, Lieutenant Colonel Rashedul Hasan Prince, regiment commander of the Mainamati Regiment, planted trees on the Hajiganj Degree College premises, visited the platoon office and later addressed the cadets at the college’s teachers’ auditorium.

Hajiganj Degree College Acting Principal Mohammad Mozammel Hussain chaired the event, with Mainamati Regiment Regimental Adjutant Major Muntasir Arafat present as the special guest.

Moderated by the College Lecturer Kamrul Hasan, Chandpur Puran Bazar Degree College Acting Principal Md Shoaib Ahmed, Matlab Government College Professor Md Kamal Hosen, Hajiganj College Assistant Professor Md Maksudur Rahman and teachers of the college were present at the event.
