Central Executive Committee Formed for Bangladesh Nationalist Livestock Professionals Council


A 51-member Central Executive Committee of the Bangladesh Nationalist Livestock Professionals Council has been formed. Mr. Md. Afsar Ali has been elected as President, while Mr. Md. Shafikur Rahman has been appointed as General Secretary.

The committee was constituted on April 11, 2026, at a meeting held in the conference room of the Department of Livestock Services. The session included discussions and exchange of views among leaders and members regarding the organization’s future plans, as well as the protection and development of professionals in the livestock sector.

Following the meeting, the leaders visited Zia Udyan in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, where they paid tribute by laying wreaths at the graves of martyred President Ziaur Rahman and former Prime Minister Begum Khaleda Zia. Special prayers were offered seeking eternal peace for their souls.

The newly formed committee expressed strong commitment to working collectively towards achieving the goals and objectives of the organization.
