RMP holds meeting to ensure peaceful Durga Puja celebrations

Rajshahi Metropolitan Police (RMP) held a preparatory meeting ahead of the celebration of Sharadiya Durga Puja.

Land Minister Mizanur Rahman Minu, MP, attended the meeting as the chief guest.

At the meeting held on Thursday evening, detailed discussions were held on overall preparations to ensure the smooth, peaceful and festive celebration of Sharadiya Durga Puja while maintaining normal law and order.

Special emphasis was also placed on strengthening coordination among the relevant government departments and institutions to ensure public safety and taking necessary measures to maintain a peaceful environment at the puja mandaps.
