​A delegation of around 60 family members and representatives of victims of enforced disappearances and extrajudicial killings, led by 'Mayer Daak' coordinator and Member of Parliament Sanjida Islam Tulee, met with the Chief Prosecutor of the International Crimes Tribunal (ICT), Md. Aminul Islam.

​During the meeting, detailed discussions were held with the victim families regarding the progress of the trial process for enforced disappearances and extrajudicial killings. Sanjida Islam Tulee urged for accelerating the trial process and ensuring transparency and neutrality in the investigations.

She called for stronger coordination between the prosecution and the investigation team of the ICT. Furthermore, she requested that allegations of enforced disappearance be investigated and tried impartially, free from any political consideration.

​Chief Prosecutor Md. Aminul Islam stated that five Investigation Officers (IOs) specializing in enforced disappearance cases are currently working on these investigations. He assured that every allegation of disappearance will be investigated with equal importance.
