ICSB delegation meets commerce minister

A delegation of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Bangladesh (ICSB) led by its President Mohammad Shahjahan met Commerce, Textiles and Jute and Industries Minister Khandakar Abdul Muktadir on Sunday.

The delegation apprised the minister of various activities undertaken by ICSB for professional development and its future plans, said a press release today.

The ICSB delegation sought the minister's support and cooperation for the further development and advancement of the Chartered Secretary profession in Bangladesh.

The minister gave the delegation a patient hearing and assured them of his best possible support and cooperation for the institute.

The delegation thanked the minister for his valuable time and expressed hope that his continued support and guidance would help ICSB achieve its objectives.

Senior Vice President Md. Rafiqul Islam FCS, Council Member Mohammad Abdullah Al Mamun FCS, Council Member Khondakar Nasir Uddin Mahmud FCS, and Secretary and Chief Executive Officer Md. Shabbirul Alam Chowdhury were present at the meeting.
