"When the Imam says "Sami Allahu liman hamidah", say "Rabbana walakal-hamd"."
فَهَزَمُوهُمْ بِإِذْنِ اللَّهِ وَقَتَلَ دَاوُدُ جَالُوتَ وَآتَاهُ اللَّهُ الْمُلْكَ وَالْحِكْمَةَ وَعَلَّمَهُ مِمَّا يَشَاءُ وَلَوْلَا دَفْعُ اللَّهِ النَّاسَ بَعْضَهُمْ بِبَعْضٍ لَفَسَدَتِ الْأَرْضُ وَلَكِنَّ اللَّهَ ذُو فَضْلٍ عَلَى الْعَالَمِينَ
Fahazamookum bi-idhni-llahi wa qatala dawudu jaloota wa atahu-llahu-mulka wal-hikmata wa allamahu mimma yashao wa lawla dafu-llahin-nasa badahum bibadin lafasadatil-ardU wa lakinna-llaha dhoo fadlin alal-alameen
"So they defeated them by permission of Allah, and David killed Goliath, and Allah gave him the kingship and wisdom and taught him from that which He wills. And if not for the check [i.e., defense] of Allah, some people by means of others, the earth would have been corrupted, but Allah is full of bounty to the worlds."
