NCP Calls for Unified Roadmap on Trials, Reforms, and Elections
National Citizen Party (NCP) has demanded that the interim government announce roadmaps for the trial of mass killings, reforms and general election simultaneously.
"The July Proclamation should be published within the stipulated time, and roadmaps for the trial, reforms and election is needed to be announced together," NCP Convener Nahid Islam said while addressing a press conference at the party office on Saturday, May 24.
Mentioning that the government has a responsibility to implement the spirit of the mass uprsing, Nahid emphasised, "The government must move towards election through the trial of mass killings and fundamental reforms of the state."
