Training on mother and child support prog held

Under the Mother and Child Support Programme, the Paikgachha Upazila Committee training on “Implementation Guidelines-2024” was held at the Upazila Parishad auditorium on Monday morning.

Upazila Nirbahi Officer Mahera Nazneen chaired the programme, and Project Director (Joint Secretary) of the Ministry of Women and Children Affairs Dr Prakash Kanti Chowdhury was virtually connected as the chief guest. The welcome speech was delivered by Upazila Women’s Affairs Officer Reshma Akhter. Organized by the Upazila Administration and the Upazila Women’s Affairs Officer’s Office, District Programme Officer Sazia Afrin Siddiqui presented the overall information on the Supporting Implementation of Mother and Child Benefit Programme.

Upazila Education Officer Bidyut Ranjan Saha and Family Planning Officer Abdullah Al Mamun were the special guests. Bangladesh Krishi Bank Officer Md Hadisuzzaman, UP Chairman Abdus Salam Keru, Panel Chairmen Md Abdullah Al Mamun Sardar, Pijush Kanti Mandal and Abul Hossain, UP Member Md Ilias Morol along with other public representatives, UP secretary, journalists and entrepreneurs were present at that time.
