Weekly Press Briefing on Government Activities and Achievements Held

A weekly press briefing on the government’s various activities and achievements was held today at the conference room of the Press Information Department (PID).

The briefing was presented by Dr. Zahed Ur Rahman, Adviser to the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. Newly appointed Minister of Information and Broadcasting Andalib Rahman, State Minister Yaser Khan Chowdhury, Secretary Mahbuba Farzana, and Chief Information Officer of the Press Information Department Syed Abdal Ahmed were present at the briefing.

Following the briefing, the minister and state minister delivered brief remarks and took part in a question-and-answer session with journalists.

At the beginning of the event, Minister Andalib Rahman unveiled the book titled “I Have a Plan: Six Months of the Democratic Journey,” published by the Press Information Department, highlighting the government’s key achievements during its first six months.
