"Stop all forms of violence against women and girls" We are women, we can do everything, women's rights-human rights, stop women-child abuse etc. The 6th District Conference of Bangladesh Mahila Parishad Patuakhali District Branch -2026 was held with the slogans.

On Friday at 10 am, a colorful rally was held in the city by hoisting the national and organization flags at the District Mahila Parishad office on College Road and after parading various roads, a discussion meeting was held at the Mallika Restaurant Center in the Police Super Market under the chairmanship of District Mahila Parishad member Suraiya Begum and presented by Fahmida Amberin, with Bangladesh Mahila Parishad member Pushpa Chakraborty as the chief guest. The special guests were the members of the central committee, former president of the Barguna district committee, Nazma Begum, member of the central committee, Sunanda Samaddar, members of the district committee, senior member Fazilatunnesa, Rashida Begum, Maksuda Begum, Nandita Pal, Tapshi Karmakar, general secretary of the Barguna district branch, Nadia Sultana, general secretary of the Kaukhali branch, Shahida Haque, president of the Human Rights Council, Morsheda Begum Mou.

The former general secretary of the Patuakhali Press Club, RTV and Samakal' correspondent Mufti Salauddin, journalist Firoz Ahmed delivered the welcome address.

The speakers called on everyone to unite by forming a committee of the Mahila Parishad at the grassroots level to prevent all kinds of violence against women and girls. Inspired by the ideals of Begum Rokeya, a pioneer of women's liberation in establishing a humane society, the women leaders called on the women's society to be courageous and come forward to implement women's rights. A cultural program on women's liberation was held at the event with the participation of local artists.
