A mobile court drive conducted by Burichang Upazila Nirbahi Officer and Executive Magistrate Tanvir Hossain fined seven pharmacies adjacent to the Burichang Sadar Hospital gate area of ​​Burichang Upazila of the district on Sunday afternoon on various irregularities, including the sale of expired medicines.

The Department of Drug Administration Cumilla Drug Super Md Iqbal Hossain, Burichang Police Station SI Liton Das and the accompanying force supported the drive. Burichang Press Club President Kazi Khorshed Alam was present at that time.

During the drive, allegations of various irregularities were found in 7 pharmacies. The mobile court fined a total of Tk 23,000.

After the drive, Executive Magistrate Tanvir Hossain said, “The owners of 7 pharmacies were fined for selling expired medicines, selling and storing samples, and selling antibiotics without a prescription from a registered doctor. The campaign will continue in the public interest.”
