A Discussion meeting on ‘Launching a bus service for school-college going students in Dhaka city’ held at MGILI
Arifur Saadnan: A discussion meeting on launching bus services in Dhaka metropolis students of all schools and colleges to ensure a safe and up-to-date transportation for their timely attendance, held at Mirpur Girls ideal Laboratory Institute in capital Dhaka.
The meeting was held at Mirpur Girls Ideal Laboratory Institute Auditorium at 11 am on Tuesday, June 24, 2025.
Director General of Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education Professor Dr. Muhammad Azad Khan was presented as Chief Guest. Professor B. M. Abdul Hannan, Director of College and Administration Affairs of the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education and Professor Dr. Khan Moinuddin Al Mahmud Sohel, Director of Secondary Affairs of the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education were as special guests in the discussion meeting.
The program was presided over by Professor Fakir Mohammad Nuruzzaman, Director of the Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education.
Dhaka District Education Officer Md. Abdul Majid and all the secondary education officers of Mirpur, Shah Ali, Pallabi, Kafrul, Mohammadpur, Dhanmondi, Lalbagh thana of Dhaka were also present in the meeting.
Managing Committee President Mohammad Moksedur Rahman Abir and Head Teacher Zinat Farhana thanked the Directorate of Education for selecting Mirpur Girls Ideal Laboratory Institute as the venue and expressed their views on launching the bus service. Assistant Head Teacher Ahmad Ullah Qasemi and other teachers of school, along with Mirpur Girls Ideal College Principal Dr. Mostari Ahmed also participated in the meeting.
Principals, Head Teachers, Teachers, Students and Guardians from educational institutions in Dhaka city attended the discussion meeting and expressed their opinions on launching the bus services for students and invoked to launch this service to relevant authorities as soon as possible.
