Action will be taken against police members After receiving allegations of drug addiction
DIG of Khulna Range Md. Mostafizur Rahman said that if there is an allegation of drug addiction against any police member, action will be taken against him through a dope test. In addition, appropriate action will be taken against any police member who is involved in or sheltering drugs. The police are working hard to control drugs.
He said this while exchanging views with journalists at the hall of the Narail Police Superintendent's office around 12 noon on Wednesday. He also said that the police will work with utmost sincerity to control crimes including theft and robbery. He also exchanged views with police officers and police members to maintain normal law and order in the district.
DIG Mostafizur Rahman expressed his blessings that the charge sheet in the rape and murder case of five-year-old Jannatul Mawa in Narail will be filed within 11 working days and that the culprit in this case will get the maximum punishment. He sought the cooperation of journalists in the police's work in controlling crime.
