The district administration has conducted a drive to evict illegal shops built by occupying the Nilphamari big field. On Tuesday afternoon, the district administration's executive magistrate and assistant commissioner Md. Tanzir Islam conducted the drive.

At that time, he immediately ordered the illegal shopkeepers in the big field to move their shops. After the order, some shopkeepers moved their shops. Executive Magistrate A.K.M. Shah Arefin, member secretary of the district sports association Abu Mohammad Soem and members of the law enforcement agencies were present in the drive.

It is learned that a large part of the Nilphamari big field has been illegally occupied and shops have been set up for a long time. This has reduced the area of the field for players to practice. This eviction drive was conducted to increase the playing facilities of the players.

District administration's executive magistrate Md. Tanzir Islam said, "Today we initially came and asked them to move their shops. Some shops have even moved immediately. There were some permanent shops, they have been given 48 hours to move them on their own responsibilities. If they do not move voluntarily within this time, we will evict them as per our rules.’
