Army Chief inaugurates Army International Islamic Institute
Army Chief General Waqar-uz-Zaman inaugurated the Army International Islamic Institute (AIII), Jalsiri in the Jalsiri Housing Project area of the capital.
At the same time, he unveiled the foundation stone of Army International Islamic Institutes to be established in Barisal, Savar, Bogura, Sylhet, Chattagram, Cumilla and Jashore through video teleconference (VTC). Since its inception, Bangladesh Army has been making significant contributions to the development of the country's education system and human resource development by operating quality educational institutions. In the context of changing needs of the times, the need to develop ideal citizens rich in knowledge, morality, leadership qualities and human values by combining modern education system with value-based education is gradually increasing.
Keeping this objective in mind, the Army International Islamic Institute (AIII) has been established by combining modern education methods in English medium based on Cambridge curriculum and value-based education. It is hoped that the institution will be established as an excellent center for the development of education, ideology, religious and moral values and the students here will dedicate themselves to the welfare of the country and the nation as ideal citizens enriched with knowledge, discipline, morality, patriotism and human values in the light of the Quran and Sunnah.
At the same time, it is expected that this great initiative will play a very important and far-reaching role in developing responsible leadership at the national and global level.The Principal Staff Officers of the Army Headquarters, General Officer Commandings of various divisions, senior military officers, eminent persons associated with the institution, teachers and students, guardians and media persons were present at the event.
