Bangladesh, Sweden Explore Opportunities for Stronger Ties
Bangladesh and Sweden have expressed their interest in deepening bilateral cooperation in areas of mutual concern, including regional stability and the protracted Rohingya crisis.
The reaffirmation came during a courtesy call by Bangladesh’s newly appointed Ambassador to Sweden, Wahida Ahmed, on Swedish Foreign Minister Maria Malmer Stenergard at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Stockholm, said a message received here today.
Welcoming the envoy, the Swedish foreign minister congratulated her on the new assignment and recalled the longstanding and friendly bilateral ties that span over five decades.
