Chhatra Dal begins tree planting in Patuakhali
The District Chhatra Dal leaders and activists have started a tree plantation programme by planting fruit, forest and beauty enhancement trees on the premises of various educational institutions including Patuakhali Government Women’s College.
District Chhatra Dal Convener Shamim Chowdhury and Member Secretary Zakaria Ahmed launched the programme at Latif Municipal Seminary Secondary School on Saturday at 11 am. Later, saplings of different varieties of trees were planted at Government Women’s College, Government Girls’ School and Government Jubilee High School in phases.
District Chhatra Dal Member Secretary Zakaria Ahmed said, “This tree planting work will continue.”
At that time, they were accompanied by District Chhatra Dal Senior Joint Convener Al Amin Hawlader, Joint Conveners Md Bellal Hossain, Md Jamal, Sourav and Md Miraj and other leaders of Chhatra Dal.
