Discussion meet and cultural program on Nazrul Barsho celebrated in Narail

A discussion meeting and cultural program were organized on the occasion of Nazrul Barsho celebration in Narail. The program was organized by the Narail Sadar Upazila Primary Education Office on Monday afternoon at the Sadar Upazila Parishad Hall.

At the program, teachers and students working in various primary schools performed cultural programs including poetry recitations written by national poet Kazi Nazrul Islam, Nazrul music, and dance.

The extraordinary performances of teachers and students including Salma Yasmin, Monali Aadhya, Ruhi Biswas, Kazi Fatima, Princila, Priyanti, Prabha Bhatt, Adrita Roy, Ila Biswas, Supriya Roy, Purbasha Adhikari, Sampi Poddar, Swapna Biswas, Gopal Biswas, Smita Singha, Pradeep Mallick, Nityanand Dam, Hirak Goswami, Bipul Kumar Dev, Anushka Das, Mahitosh Biswas and other teachers and students mesmerized the audience.

The program was presided over by District Primary Education Officer Md. Jahangir Alam. The chief guest of the program was Narail District Commissioner Dr Mohammad Abdul Salam, special guest Additional Deputy Commissioner (Revenue) Hosne Ara Tanni, Sadar Upazila Executive Officer T,M, Rahsin Kabir, District Secondary Education Officer Md. Jamal Uddin, District Primary Education Officer Md. Jahangir Alam, Cultural Organizer Sheikh Hanif and various government officials, teachers and students. The program was conducted by Assistant Teachers Mahfuza Yasmin Sraboni and Aminur Rahman.

At the end of the program, Monali Aadhya, who secured 33rd place in folk music at the national level in the National Primary Education Medal-2026 competition, and M Shahariar Hossain, who participated in Hamd-Naat, were presented with commemorative mementos.
