DU Salimullah Muslim Hall hosts Commemorative discussion to Commemorate July Revolution

To mark the second anniversary of the historic July Uprising, a commemorative discussion meeting and prayer mahfil to commemorate the July Revolution and Student Uprising was held at the hall auditorium on Friday evening at the initiative of Salimullah Muslim Hall, Dhaka University. Dhaka University Vice Chancellor Professor Dr ABM Obaidul Islam was present as the chief guest at the event.

Chaired by the Hall’s Provost Professor Dr Abdus Salam, the Pro-Vice Chancellor (Education) Professor Dr. Abdus Salam and Pro-Vice Chancellor (Administration) Professor Dr. Mohammad Almojaddidi Alfesani spoke as special guests. National University Pro-Vice Chancellor Professor Lutfar Rahman spoke as the keynote speaker. Faculty of Science Dean Professor Dr. Md. Mofazzal Hossain and VP of the Hall Sangsad Md. Zayedul Haque participated in the discussion. 6 residential students of the hall reminisced about the July Uprising. GS of the Hall Sangsad Sadman Abdullah conducted the program.

At the program, 8 winners of the quiz competition titled ‘July Revolution and Student Uprising’ were awarded.
