Rangpur Metropolitan Police (RpMP) Commissioner Mohammad Abdul Mabud today said earning the trust and confidence of the public is the highest achievement of a policeman. "To achieve this goal, every policeman must further enhance skills, discipline and service quality," he said. He made the remarks while addressing officers and members after inspecting the weekly master parade at Rangpur Metropolitan Police Lines Ground.

The parade was held to improve professional standards, discipline, physical fitness and operational readiness of the force. RpMP members from different units participated in an orderly manner, while Assistant Police Commissioner Shakil commanded the parade and presented the salute to the commissioner. The commissioner inspected the parade, dress code, discipline and turnout of personnel.

He also awarded police members in recognition of cleanliness and good turnout, and later instructed them to maintain honesty, dedication and professionalism in maintaining law and order and delivering citizen services. Additional Police Commissioners Naresh Chakma and Md Tofail Ahmed, along with deputy commissioners and other officers, were present.
