Govt working to protect fundamental rights of people: Khokon Talukder

Anisur Rahman Khokon Talukder, Member of Parliament from Madaripur-3 constituency, has said the government is committed to protecting the fundamental rights of the people. Talking to journalists after inaugurating two Herring Bone Bond (HBB) roads in Dasar upazila today, he said development activities of would continue across the country under the leadership of Tarique Rahman.

He said projects were taken to make rural earthen roads more durable and improve communication facilities for local residents. Khokon Talukder also announced that tenders wil be floated after June for construction of several new roads in his constituency. 

He said the government has already undertaken a number of development initiatives, including the construction and renovation of upazila and union roads, rural roads, culverts, canal excavation works, and other infrastructure projects. Upazila government officials and local leaders of BNP were present.
