Krishak Dal begins tree planting in Sreepur
On the occasion of the 44th martyrdom anniversary of Shaheed President Ziaur Rahman, the Sadar Union Krishak Dal of the district organized a tree plantation programme in various areas of Sreepur Upazila of the district on Friday afternoon.
District BNP Member Secretary Alhaj Monowar Hossain Khan inaugurated the programme as the chief guest.
Among others, Sreepur Upazila BNP former president and former upazila parishad chairman of Badrul Alam Hero, former general secretary Munshi Rezaul Karim, District Krishak Dal General Secretary Jahangir Alam Hira, former joint convener Arman Molla, District Jubo Dal Communication Affairs Secretary Munshi Joynul Abedin, Upazila Krishak Dal former convener Mehedi Hasan Mukul, former member secretary Khalifa Romanur Rahman Biplob, former joint conveners Moinul Islam Sujan and Khandaker Saheb Ali, Upazila Jubo Dal Member Secretary Shah Alam Tufan, Upazila Chhatra Dal Member Secretary Hemayet Hossain, Raihan Rinku of Sreepur Government Degree College Chhatra Dal, Sreepur Sadar Union Krishak Dal Convener Mahbubur Rahman Sheikh, and Member Secretary Tuku Sheikh were present.
The speakers said that such programmes are very important for protecting the environment and realizing the dream of a green Bangladesh. Everyone was urged to plant trees, remembering the ideals of Ziaur Rahman and the glorious history of BNP.
