Meeting held for publicity of govt’s initiatives

District Information Office today arranged a meeting here today, what they said, for wide publicity of the benefits of the implementation of election pledges of the present government in the district. Journalists of print, electronic and online media attended the meeting held at Deputy Commissioner's conference. The organizers emphasized on widely publicity of the benefits and success of various public welfare initiatives already undertaken by the present government such as distribution of family card, canal excavation, tree plantation, transportation facilities for women, farmer cards and agricultural loan waiver. 

Bagerhat Deputy Commissioner Golam Md. Baten, Bagerhat district information officer Muinul Islam and senior officials were present. Speakers sought the active cooperation of the media to properly highlight the positive aspects of the government’s development and public welfare activities to the common people. Concerned government officials of the district were present and answered the questions of the audiences. Speakers highlighted the successes of the present government.
