Meeting held to improve quality of secondary & higher secondary education in Nabinagar

A meeting was held in Nabinagar Upazila of Brahmanbaria to further improve the quality of secondary and higher secondary education. On Monday the meeting was held under the chairmanship of the competent Upazila Executive Officer of Nabinagar Upazila Rakibul Hasan and moderated by the Upazila Secondary Education Officer Mr. Al Mamun. The principals of various government and private colleges of Nabinagar Upazila, head teachers of secondary schools and principals and superintendents of madrasas were present in the meeting. 

The overall development of education, moral values of students, improvement of teaching quality, discipline, increasing attendance and various aspects of building a modern and technology-based education system were discussed in detail in the meeting. In his speech as the president, UNO Mr Rakibul Hasan said, "There is no alternative to education to build an educated, skilled and humane generation.

 The Upazila administration will work with utmost importance to improve the quality of education and will provide necessary cooperation to all educational institutions in this regard." He called on teachers to play a responsible role and emphasized on taking coordinated initiatives to develop the talent, morality and creativity of students. The heads of the educational institutions present also presented their various opinions and proposals for the development of the education system. The exchange of views was appreciated by all present as a positive initiative to make the education system of Nabinagar more effective, modern and student-friendly.
