Meeting to prevent child marriage, eve-teasing & Violence against women held in Nabinagar

A meeting to prevent child marriage, eve-teasing and violence against women and to improve the quality of education was held at Nabinagar Ichhamoyi Girls' School in Brahmanbaria on Thursday. Mr Abu Saeed, Deputy Commissioner and learned District Magistrate Brahmanbaria, was present as the chief guest in the meeting. Mr Rakibul Islam, Upazila Executive Officer, Nabinagar, presided over the program.

 In addition, the president of the school's Ad Hoc Committee, Mr Sadequl Haque Sadir, Upazila Secondary Education Officer Mr Mohammad Al-Mamun, the school's eligible headmaster Kawsar Begum, guardian member Rashidul Haque Bhuiyan were also present.

 The chief guest gave a guiding speech to the teachers and students visiting the classrooms and highly praised the school's class activities, co-curricular activities and past exam results. Then he distributed sports equipment among the students and planted trees in the school yard. The program was moderated by Shah Md Yasinul Haque.
