NCP forms 21-member committee in Kaunia
A 21-member committee of the Kaunia Upazila Unit of the National Citizen Party (NCP) was formed with Md Saidul Islam as the chief coordinator.
A letter signed by the NCP’s Central Convening Committee Member Secretary Akhtar Hossain and Chief Organizer (Northern Region) Sarjis Alam on Thursday said that a 21-member committee has been approved with Md Saidul Islam as the chief coordinator for the next three months or until the convening committee is formed. Mawlana Md Zillur Rahman, Shri Paritosh Chandra Burman and Md Saheb Ali will serve as the joint coordinators of this committee.
The members of the coordination committee of the NCP’s Kaunia Upazila Unit are, Md Jewel Rana, Alhaj Md Majidul, Md Faruk Hossain Lavlu, Md Ashiqur Rahman Ashiq, Md Zillur Rahman (Teacher), Md Hatem Ali, Md Sahana Parveen, Md Anwar Hossain, Md Arman Hossain Palash, Md Abdul Kader, Engineer Md Ramzan Ali, Md Rubayet Kabir, Md Sujan Parvez, Md Noor Kashem, Md Chan Mia, Abu Hena Mostafa Kamal, and Md Golam Mostafa.
Members of the newly formed coordination committee met with the relatives of the martyred families of the mass uprising in Kaunia Upazila on Friday and visited the graves of the martyrs. In the afternoon, after the introductory meeting at the upazila party office, a discussion meeting was held on the demands of the July Declaration, basic reforms, July Certificate and justice.
