One arrested with bomb-making Equipment in Naria

Naria police have arrested a man named Insan Dhali with bomb-making equipment, drugs and cash in Naria. On Tuesday morning, 10 pieces of yaba, 10 pieces of ganja, 2,050 taka in cash, 4 mobile phones and various cocktail-making equipment were recovered from Insan Dhali's house in the Mosura area of Bhojeshwar Union of Naria upazila of Shariatpur district.

The recovered equipment includes more than 100 marbles, more than 100 matches with sticks, gunpowder from a few matches without sticks, a pair of scissors and a hammer. The police said that these equipment were initially used to make cocktails or hand bombs.

Naria Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md. Bahar Mia said that based on a secret tip-off, a search was conducted at Insan Dhali's house and Yaba, marijuana, cash, mobile phone and various equipment for making cocktails (hand bombs) were recovered. He was arrested from the spot. A case under the Narcotics and Explosives Act is under process in this incident and the matter is being investigated seriously.
