One held in Dinajpur with 133 buprenorphine injection ampoules

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-13 seized 133 ampoules of illegal Buprenorphine injections and arrested a presumed drug dealer from Masterpara village under Hakimpur police station of Dinajpur on Saturday night. A press release signed by RAB-13’s Senior Assistant Director (Media) and Additional Superintendent of Police Biplab Kumar Goswami confirmed the information here this afternoon.

On a tip off, a smart team of the RAB-13’s Dinajpur Camp in a raid seized 133 ampoules of illegal Buprenorphine injections packed in a plastic bag and arrested the man from Masterpara village at 11:30 pm. The arrestee is Md Ariful Islam, 40, son of Md Nurul Islam of North Basudebpur (Masterpara) village under Hakimpur police station of Dinajpur district. The release further said that the arrested person along with the seized drugs has been handed over to Hakimpur police station for further legal action.
