Pension Fair inaugurated in Panchagarh
Organized by the district administration and the National Pension Authority of the Finance Department of the Ministry of Finance, a Pension Fair was inaugurated in the district on Sunday afternoon with the theme “Participation in the universal pension scheme will ensure future life”.
Joint Secretary of the Finance Department of the Ministry of Finance AFM Fazle Rabbi inaugurated the fair by releasing balloons as the chief guest. At that time, Deputy Commissioner Sabet Ali, Civil Surgeon Dr Mizanur Rahman and others were present. Later, the guests visited various stalls participating in the fair. Besides, a discussion meeting and a workshop were organized on the occasion of the fair in the government auditorium hall.
Deputy Commissioner Sabet Ali chaired the event. It was attended by Joint Secretary of the Finance Department of the Ministry of Finance AFM Fazle Rabbi, Civil Surgeon Dr Mizanur Rahman, student representative Fazle Rabbi, District Jamaat-e-Islami Amir Iqbal Hossain, District BNP Convener Zahirul Islam Kachchu and others.
Assistant General Manager (Deputy Secretary) of the National Pension Authority Sirajum Monira made a PowerPoint presentation through a projector at the event. In addition, Additional Deputy Commissioner (General) Sumon Chandra Das delivered the welcome speech.
At that time, officials and employees of various government and private organizations, leaders and activists of political parties, leaders and activists of various labor organizations, media workers, representatives of bank insurance companies and people from all walks of life participated.
It is worth noting that 27 stalls including bank insurance, non-governmental development organizations, and the entrepreneur center of the Union Parishad participated in the fair.
