Sharat Utshob and Mela concludes in Rajshahi

The week-long 'Sharat Utshob and Mela’ (Autumn Festival and Fair) organized by "Rajshahir Uddokta" has been concluded here last evening.

Rajshahi City Corporation Administrator Mahfuzur Rahman Riton was present as the chief guest at the concluding ceremony at Pipra Appayan and Convention Center (opposite the T-Badh area) of the city.

At the beginning of the ceremony, the RCC Administrator went round of various stalls in the fair.

In his speech, he said, support will be provided by standing beside the entrepreneurs to eliminate unemployment. It is essential to create necessary cooperation and opportunities to groom the youth as entrepreneurs, he said.

The RCC administrator said that Rajshahi City Corporation will provide cooperation so that entrepreneur fairs can be organized on a larger scale in future. Such fair plays an important role in the promotion of products and services, he added.

He said the incumbent government is working to make entrepreneurs self-reliant by providing them with loans on easy terms and necessary assistance.

Thanking the entrepreneurs participating in the fair, he said, the innovative thinking and initiatives of the youth will further accelerate the economic progress of the country.

The organizers of the fair, Touhid Ferdous Tanmoy, Nipash Bipu, Toha Rahman were present, among others.

The ‘Sharat Utshob and Mela’ began on September 17 with 70 stalls. Various entrepreneurs and a large number of people from different classes and professions visited the fair.
