‘Shooter Bappy’ Held After Firing at Police in Fakirapool

The Dhaka Metropolitan Detective Police (DB) have arrested top criminal "Shooter Bappy" and his two associates in connection with the recent shooting at detective police officers in the capital’s Fakirapool area. Authorities also recovered three foreign-made pistols and a large cache of ammunition from the suspects.
The information was confirmed today, Sunday (June 29), by Deputy Commissioner of the Media and Public Relations Division of Dhaka Metropolitan Police, Muhammad Talebur Rahman. He stated that a special operation was conducted around 2:00 AM on Saturday night in the Ghop Nawapara area of Jessore district. During the operation, police arrested the notorious criminal Bappy, also known as Md. Ali, Firoz Alam, or Ahsanul Haque, along with his associates Abu Khalid Saifullah, alias "Bomb Ripon," and Md. Kamrul Hasan.
During the arrest, three foreign-made pistols, six loaded magazines, and a total of 151 rounds of ammunition were recovered from their possession. Earlier, on June 19, these drug traffickers opened fire on members of the Detective Police in the Fakirapool area of Dhaka.
