A significant majority of Americans oppose involving the US military in the ongoing conflict between Iran and Israel, according to a survey conducted by YouGov, an international internet-based market research and data analytics firm headquartered in the UK. According to the findings, 60 percent of those surveyed believe the United States should refrain from military intervention, while only 16 percent support such involvement. The remaining 24 percent were unsure.

The survey also revealed partisan differences: 65 percent of Democrats, 53 percent of Republicans, and 61 percent of independents opposed US military action. In addition to views on military involvement, the poll examined public perception of Iran. Half of the respondents consider Iran an enemy of the United States, while 25 percent described the country as unfriendly.
