Three arrested with phensedyl-like “Choco” drug in Lalmonirhat
Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-13 seized 355 bottles of phensedyl-like drug CHOCO and arrested three persons, including a woman from Banchuki village under Hatibandha police station in Lalmonirhat today. The arrestees are Md Rajib, 27, son of late Abu Sayeed, Md Shamim Rahman, 42, son of Md Abdur Rashid and his wife Most Bilkis Begum, 40, all are residents of the same village of Banchuki in Lalmonirhat district.
Acting on a tip-off, an operational team of RAB-13's Sadar Company conducted a raid in the village and arrested them with the huge contraband drug CHOCO from the house of the rested persons at 1.10 am, a press release said. During primary interrogation, the detainees admitted that they have been dealing in Phensedyl and other drugs like Phensedyl very skillfully for a long time.
After filing a case in this connection, the elite force handed over the arrested persons and the seized drugs to Hatibandha police station in Lalmonirhat district for further legal action.
