Top Terrorist and Extortionist Md. Parvez Arrested in Mirpur

In a successful operation by Mirpur Model Police Station, top terrorist and extortionist Md. Parvez (35), son of Delwar Hossain Dulal, residing at 99/2/3, Ali Mia Tek, Pirerbagh, under Mirpur Police Station, Dhaka, has been arrested. He was apprehended during a special raid conducted around 1:00 AM on the night of July 9, 2025, under the leadership of Officer-in-Charge Sajjad Roman of Mirpur Model Police Station.

According to police sources, multiple drug and extortion cases have been filed against Md. Parvez in various stations under the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP). In Mirpur Model Police Station alone, there are currently three ongoing cases related to drugs and extortion against him. The police stated that he had long been involved in extortion, terrorist activities, and drug trafficking in the area. News of his arrest has brought relief to local residents. OC Sajjad Roman said, “No matter who the criminal is, they will be brought to justice. Our operations against drugs and terrorism will continue.”
