Two Chhatra Dal leaders Resign in Sarishabari
Two Chhatra Dal leaders named Mehedi Hasan Rinku and Ibne Hasan have resigned from the post of vice-president of Union Chhatra Dal in Sarishabari, Jamalpur. Mehedi Hasan Rinku, vice-president of Pogaldigha Union Chhatra Dal, and Office Secretary Ibne Hasan, posted a resignation letter on their Facebook page on Tuesday afternoon.
The letter revealed that Ibne Hasan had been serving as the office secretary of Pogaldigha Union Chhatra Dal since 2022. He voluntarily resigned from the office secretary of Union Chhatra Dal on Monday night, citing personal and family reasons. Meanwhile, Mehedi Hasan Rinku, vice-president of the same committee and a Chhatra Dal activist during BNP's difficult times, voluntarily resigned from the post of vice-president of Union Chhatra Dal citing the undervaluation of activists and disruption of political infrastructure in his resignation letter.
Mehedi Hasan Rinku, vice-president of Union Chhatra Dal, who has just resigned, said in this regard, "I have been involved in Chhatra Dal politics since 2009. I have been involved in Chhatra Dal politics during BNP's difficult times. But now, due to the undervaluation of activists and disruption of political infrastructure during BNP's good times, I have voluntarily resigned from the post of vice-president of Union Chhatra Dal."
Masud Rana Chapal, member secretary of Upazila Chhatra Dal, said in this regard, "We are not yet aware of the resignation. We have not officially received any resignation letter from anyone from Upazila Chhatra Dal."
