World autism day observed in Manikganj

World Autism Awareness Day 2026 observed here today with the theme “Autism and Humanity- Every Life Has Value”. On the occasion a discussion was held at Deputy Commissioner’s conference room. DC Nazmun Ara Sultana, Deputy Director of Social Service Abdul Baten spoke among others on the occasion.

Speakers laid importance on creating mass awareness about autism, urging all not to neglect the children suffering from neurodevelopmental problems. The government has been implementing different programmes for the wellbeing of the individuals with autism, they said.
