Youth arrested with 55 pieces of Yaba In Lalmohan, accomplice absconding

A youth named Hachnain Mamun has been arrested with 55 pieces of Yaba tablets in an anti-drug operation by the police in Lalmohan, Bhola.

At that time, one of his accomplices escaped. According to police sources, on the night of Thursday an anti-drug operation was conducted in the police station area under the leadership of Lalmohan Police Station SI (retd) Md. Asaduzzaman Khan. At one stage of the operation, Md. Hachnain Mamun (32) was arrested with 55 (fifty-five) pieces of Yaba tablets from Ward No. 3 of Charbhuta Union in Lalmohan Upazila.

The father of arrested Hachnain Mamun is Siraj Uddin and the mother is Samarth Bhanu. He is a resident of Ward No. 3 of Charbhuta Union. During the operation, Hachnain Mamun's accomplice Md. Mizan (28), father- Sofi Panchayat, Sang- Charbhuta Union Ward No. 2, fled after sensing the presence of the police. A case under the Narcotics Control Act is under process at Lalmohan Police Station against the arrested and absconding accused in this incident.
