24 crime suspects held in Hazaribagh
Police arrested 24 individuals in a day-long special drive conducted in different areas under Hazaribagh Police Station today, as part of ongoing efforts to curb crime and maintain law and order. According to Hazaribagh Police Station sources, the drive targeted individuals allegedly involved in various criminal activities. During the operation, law enforcers also recovered 46 pieces of yaba tablets and cannabis from the arrested individuals.
All 24 accused have been sent to the appropriate court for legal proceedings, police said. Assistant Police Commissioner (Media and Public Relations) of Dhaka Metropolitan Police, Arifa Akhtar Priti confirmed the arrest and seizure. The DMP officials assured that such special drives will continue to maintain normal law and order in the areas.
