25,000 litres of diesel seized in Ctg
The district administration today seized 25,000 litres of illegally stored diesel during a raid in the Faujdarhat CDA residential area of Salimpur union under Sitakunda upazila. Sitakunda Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md Fakhrul Islam confirmed the seizure. Acting on a tip-off, officials conducted a raid at an oil depot in the area and recovered the diesel. The owners were absent during the drive. The seized oil will be presented before a court for further action.
Deputy Commissioner Mohammad Zahidul Islam Miah, Additional District Magistrate Syed Mahbubul Haque, UNO Md Fakhrul Islam, and Jamuna Oil Company AGM Captain Sheikh Zahid Ahmed were present.
