6,000 kg of Banned Polythene Confiscated in Bogura

Detective Branch (DB) of police in a drive recovered 6,000 kg of banned polythene from a godown in Kalitala area of the district town last night. Police also arrested manager of the godown Rafiqul Islam, 39, a resident of Nataipara area of Sadar upazila. On information, a team of DB police conducted a drive at the godown adjacent to Bhandari Pipe Factory and seized the polythene, said Officer-in-Charge of the district DB police Iqbal Bahar. A case was filed in this connection.
